Jehovah Witnesses help again?

I think you are making the mistake of not recognizing the over-rider clauses that act as the former statements mean nothing. Of course yes, it is on the record that the Jw org has said that they are not inspired prophets and that cancels out the former statements as to read it that way. But you have to ask yourself, why did they even say what they did then? This is where they become figurative and I am not surprised you are confused cause it still begs the question, why did they even say what they did then?.......because the purpose defeats the ridiculousness of the notion of figurativeness! When they dictate these things they make these statements in such a way as to "allow" for error, and this is the whole principle of how the Jw org works. Sometimes their methods are not so ridiculously convincing to the followers and "this is why" they lose followers.
