no, it means that u r putting full trust and faith in God and that u accept whatever He wills to happen. u r responsible for ur own actions always, but sometimes people blame others or God for certain things that happen or are in very difficult situations that they cant easily be out of....u put ur life in God's hands and accept whatever He wills to happen without stressing over what u want or do not want to have happen. everything rests in His hands anyway....just have faith in it
