Why does Liam Gallagher think he's cool when his band has less imagination than a Status Quo song?

As a frontman Liam is a rock n roll icon. The whole swagger and ********* has been with him since the very start. Its not an act, a la Johnny Borrel/Pete Doherty/Kyle Falconer etc etc. Oasis didn't set out to re-write The Bible(Rubber Soul), they are a rock and roll band.For a period of time they were a fantastic rock and roll band. However, with money and fame also comes complacency. They are no longer the force they once were.Yeah they can sell out their gigs in x amount of minutes, but so what? So did the Spice Girls.
