Am i the only person who dispises these HUGE fringes?!?

okay so just today at my school,i was in the dorm and a crowd of random girls were just outside, they were all talking. i noticed a few of these girls had something over there faces so i walk up and ask cos at first i thought it was some kind of hat . '' this is how we all wear our hair,it looks really nice!'' basically, its a hugee layer of hair over your forehead. thiss really creeps me outt! im american btw, is this some kinda british style right now? or does everyone think they look deranged? im not trying to offend anyone btw, just curiouss ;D
