Did you suffer any punishments in Catholic School which still make you cringe?

How much time do you have? I could go on for hours. I think the worst was that our principal, Sister Regina, had this big square of really rough astro-turf (you know, fake gr) in the corner of her office and she would make you kneel on it for extended periods of time, which was awful. The girls were already in uniform skirts so they were bare-kneed, and the boys had to roll up their pant legs. The pain was atrocious. She also had three paddles, the 'baby paddle', just a long thick wooden; the regular paddle, thicker wood with holes drilled in it, and the serious trouble paddle, made of black rubber like tire rubber. In addition to the principal's paddles, each clroom had a 'baby paddle' and they would bring you to the front of the cl, put you over the teachers knee and paddle you, the amount of times just depended on your offense. There are but a few examples.
