What drugs did Janis Joplin take?

Too many for her own good.She left Austin,TX with bad acne and a bad speed habit for SF in the very early 60s. Dealt and sang at coffee houses. Left and came back for another try. Deep personal insecurities 'luckily' prevented a lot of pot and acid use which can only inflame a fragile personality.Janis used Southern Comfort and smack to mask this. She was used up by management and made to perform in the centre show-ring till she cracked. This is/was a very famililar story of those days. Great performer,great interpreter of song,probably a real good friend..See ya at Barney's...
