How do i handle this person?

Carry on as you have - only talk when you must. If there's a problem with getting work donw bc of this person, or their lack of teamwork....go to the boss & let them know the 2 of you are not communicating well & try & come up w/ some alternatives. You need to look like you've put in an effort w/o snitching.
