How do I cut my dogs nails?

If you have never done it on any dog, the best thing to do is to go to the vet and let him/ her show you. When I get my first dog over thirty yeas ago that's what I did, the vet explained everything to me and showed me what to do. Bring in your clippers and ask the vet or vet tech to show you how it's done.
