Does having a family make you more of a man?

Lets just say this. Fatherhood use to be the culmination of Manhood. But since modern society removed most of the guide post that men use to use to measure their maturity level, men no longer know how to define what it means to be a man. And consequently, defining manhood has become a relative thing that only needs to be believed by the one defining it.
